About

Born on Čiovo.Spent on the water.

ČiovoKayak started with a simple idea: the best parts of this island can't be reached by road. The hidden bays. The 17th-century ruins half-swallowed by pine. The bay where the sea is so still you can hear the cicadas across the water.

We're a small team of locals who grew up on these shores. We keep our groups tiny on purpose: ten guests at most. That's how you actually experience a place.

We're also the only kayak tour on Čiovo. Everyone else here runs boats — big ones, fast ones, dropping fifty tourists at the same beach as the fifty boats before them. You get twenty minutes to swim shoulder to shoulder with strangers, then it's back on board and back to the marina. No stories, no names, just a transfer.

We paddle instead. Slower, quieter, at eye level with the water. We stay at a secluded beach that's ours alone — no other group, just you and the nature around. Ask us anything: what these ruins were before they were ruins, what life here actually looks like off-season, where to get the best grilled fish tonight, which beach the locals still keep to themselves. By the end, it doesn't feel like a tour. It feels like you know somebody on the island.
